MEET THE ARTIST

Heidi Van Horne, a multifaceted artist with over 30 years of experience, has made significant contributions both in front of and behind the camera.

Hailing from Texas, she began her career capturing moments on 35mm stills and video 8 camcorders, emphasizing storytelling over format. Renowned for her columns on classic cars in the Houston Chronicle, she's also recognized for her acting roles in television and film, notably appearing in Richard Linklater's iconic Dazed and Confused (1993). Also a prominent figure in retro pinup modeling, Heidi's artistry often intertwines with her life experiences, exploring themes of nostalgia.

Her photography has graced the pages of numerous publications and been showcased in exhibitions across Los Angeles, Ventura, and Houston. Notably, her award-winning short film, broken home movies (2021), has been screened at prestigious venues like the Austin Film Society Theater. Recently relocating to Buda, Heidi continues to shape the artistic landscape with her unique perspective and creative vision.

Jessica Mason is a professional artist who specializes in acrylic and mixed media paintings, graphic design and textile design. Her eclectic style and broad portfolio is influenced by her childhood in a military family, which exposed her to diversity, culture, and art from all over the world. Jessica's work is described as modern, abstract and expressionistic. Influences come from artists and art movements such as Wassily Kandinsky, Lee Krasner, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Franz Kline, ancient Mayan art and abstract expressionists.

With a passion for creating, Jessica studied Studio Art and Graphic Design at Texas State University graduating with a BFA in Communication Design. She applied her graphic design and studio art skills to manufacture, market, and sell yoga mat bag carriers that sold in yoga studios and fitness boutiques across Central Texas.

After a move to Austin, Texas, she refined her creative output by focusing on creating art for homes and businesses. Partnering with interior designers, business owners and art lovers, Jessica has adorned many walls and interiors with inspiring work specific to each client’s needs.
