Embrace Two

Embrace Two

“Embrace One and Two”

We are observing, living and existing in unsure times, I have especially executed a couple of images that would encircle feelings of emotions, as well as financial adjustments that each of us experience on a daily basis. Inspired Minds Art Center has provided wall space to ease some of these unparalleled times. The pieces "Embrace One" and "Embrace Two" are very minimalistic in form and design. The contrast in color for each piece's base tone and text gives each viewer a clear straight to the point interpretation - no gray area for any misconstrued messages. The hints of red in each of the pieces gravitate to the blood, sweat, tears and pain that we accumulate during our life cycle. Last but not least, there is a translucent symbol of people gathered in a circle over the "R" and "A" of the word EMBRACE. This transparent symbol shows that we really need each other to lean on and care about, if we want to or not, in secret or in public.

I like to end with this quote.

“The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word 'crisis.' One brush stroke stands for danger; the other for opportunity. In a crisis, be aware of the danger--but recognize the opportunity.”
