This fall, photographer and storyteller Desiree Steele takes up residence at Inspired Minds Art Center with The Habit of Noticing - a collection photographed entirely on film, built around a simple idea: slow down, pay attention, and notice the ordinary things most of us drive right past.

Join Desiree for a casual community photo walk through downtown Buda, built around a few simple noticing prompts to help you slow down and see what you'd normally walk right past. Afterward, we'll head back to the Amster Gallery to share what everyone noticed and photographed, and close out Desiree's residency together. It's also your last chance to see, and take home, a piece from The Habit of Noticing before the collection comes down.
