Gena Destri is a semi-abstract expressionist artist living in Kyle, TX working in 2D mediums such as acrylics, watercolor, and oils. She gravitates toward producing figurative, abstract and landscape work equally, however, her most recent work has been almost exclusively landscape based. Throughout life, Destri has traveled frequently to natural areas which have imprinted upon her greatly. She uses memories, emotions and the spiritual energy from places she’s been to influence her work. Her pieces are color-oriented and intuitive, celebrating spirituality and energies she has encountered in nature, places, humanity and in the life-bearing qualities from the feminine.
