About the Event
On August 6th, Buda City Council will decide whether or not to award the lease of the former city hall building in Downtown Buda to Inspired Minds Art Center in collaboration with Hill Country Theatre.
Having an art center and community theatre in the heart of downtown Buda will be a cultural, educational, economic, and healthful asset to our local community, artists, small business owners, and the greater Hays County area. It is an investment in an arts ecosystem in order to elevate new perspectives, encourage diversity, and make local communities more inclusive and vibrant.
Every City Council Meeting begins at 6:00pm and opens with an opportunity for public comments. Each person is allowed 3 minutes in front of City Council to express concerns, rally support, and applaud actions.
This is your chance to sit in, stand up, speak out, and direct your elected officials in their decision making.
