Open Call
Announcing an open call for artists who are interested in having a three-week solo show in the Inspired Minds Gallery, located on the bustling Main St, in Historic Downtown Buda, Texas.
This is a unique opportunity for emerging and established artists to showcase their work in an award-winning gallery that is dedicated to promoting contemporary art.

We are currently seeking small, handcrafted, unique items to offer for sale in the gift shop section of the Gallery at Inspired Minds Art Center.
We have limited space available in our shop, and we will ensure that there is a variety of products available. Preference will be given to Hays County area artists and vendors, but anyone is welcome to submit.

We’re inviting all former and current students of Inspired Minds Art Center to participate in the 4th Annual Inspired Minds Student Art Show. This show is all about giving your teachers something to brag about!! We’re just kidding, it’s all about celebrating YOU of course! (But your teachers are 100% looking forward to bragging about you!) It’s magnificent to see all of the fabulous art that is created in this art center.
IMAC instructors and staff are committed to growing a community, in the heart of Buda, that fosters friendship, learning, and of course, inspiration!

TWO piece of artwork may be submitted per student.

Artwork must be dropped off at Inspired Minds Art Center from June 20 - 22, 1:00pm - 6:00pm

Each artwork must have the artwork’s title, the artist’s name, art class taken, and the artist’s contact information (email and phone) on a label securely adhered to the back or bottom of the artwork.

2D Artwork must be framed and ready to hang.

Charitable Project: Buy a Bowl, Feed 100 People
On January 20, 2024, Inspired Minds Art Center is celebrating its 4th birthday by giving back to the community that has been so supportive of the arts. The art center is teaming up with local artists and restaurants to raise money for the Hays County Food Bank by hosting an Empty Bowl event entitled, “Buy a Bowl, Feed 100 People.” Every handcrafted, ceramic bowl sold at the event will come with a choice of gourmet soup from local restaurants. The proceeds from each $35 Empty Bowl purchase will be donated to the Hays County Food Bank to feed 100 people!
In January 2023, we raised $5200 ≈ 15,000 meals for the Hays County Food Bank and handed them a check in early February. We were able to support them during a time of desperate need during financial and food shortages.
The Need: 400 Ceramic Bowls
We are seeking 400 ceramic soup bowls of all sizes, shapes, and colors donated by area potters and pottery students.

You’re invited to submit your handmade art and crafts to the 2024 Inspired Minds Holiday Bazaar for an opportunity to have a vendor booth throughout the holiday season!
We’re transforming the Inspired Mind Gallery into floor-to-ceiling holiday shopping, and we’re hand-selecting a very limited number of artists and artisans whose work has the one-of-a-kind, unique quality and superior craftsmanship that fits our clientele.

This is a high-speed painting competition set the live cumbia beats of Money Chicha. Only 8 artists will be selected to compete. Artists go head-to-head in three 20-minute rounds. The audience chooses the winner!
