Hays County Arts Alliance: Inaugural Plein Air Exhibition & Reception

This spring, artists from across Hays County spent their Saturdays outside at Onion Creek in Buda, Blue Hole in Wimberley, Madrone Springs Ranch in Dripping Springs, and the Meadow Center in San Marcos. Each one painting what they saw, on location, in real time.

On June 27, all of that work comes together in one place.

The Hays County Arts Alliance, a first-of-its-kind collaboration between Inspired Minds Art Center, the Dripping Springs Art League, the San Marcos Art League, and the Wimberley Valley Art League, opens its inaugural Plein Air Exhibition with a free public reception at the Buda Welcome Center.

Come meet the artists, experience paintings of some of Hays County's most beloved waterways, and celebrate what happens when a whole county shows up for the arts.

Original paintings will be on display and available for purchase directly through the artists. The exhibition remains on view through August 6.
