Let's Get Glazing!
SETUP
-
Cover your workspace with the provided tablecloth
-
Remove all items from the box
PAINT
-
First use the large paintbrush to coat your entire ceramic piece with 2-3 layers of Clear Glaze to make it shiny & food safe.
-
It looks greenish, but it’ll end up clear.
-
-
Next use the smaller brushes to add personalized details and blocks of color to the piece with the color glaze. The colors will turn brighter when they’re fired in the kiln.
-
TIP : 2-3 layers of glaze creates bolder colors. 1 layer looks like watercolor.
-
TIP : Use the end of your paintbrush to make dots. For thin lines apply light pressure.
-
WRAP UP
-
Let your piece dry.
-
Place your artwork back in the bubble wrap & put it back in the box.
-
Fill out the Name Card & put it in the box.
-

FAQ
-
Do I need to be an artist? No experience needed—just play and create!
-
How long does it take? Usually 30–60 minutes.
-
Is it messy? Not with the supplies included. Glazes are water-based and generally wash out, but we recommend using caution around light-colored clothing. Wipe spills immediately and rinse hands before touching fabric.
-
Where do I pick up my finished piece? At Inspired Minds Art Center in Downtown Buda. 121 Main Street
-
